Merry Christmas from Kathmandu

Our Christmas eve dinner: grilled vegetable and goat cheese pizza for me, four cheese pizza (one of which was yak cheese) for Jean Yves. The best pizza I've had since I lived in Rome!

Look- we even have a Christmas tree thanks to Luc, Christelle and their boys, and Denis and Jean-Michel! And Santa's elves even knew where to find us! Notice the socks filled with goodies--old style!

The street party of Christmas Nepali sytle. The government even avoided the usual power cuts for the day! It is a national holiday, depsite the fact that only a very small percentage of Nepali are Christian (most are Hindu)
