Our new hotel- christmas present to ourselves!

In the temple area this morning. The Nepali are industrious and pious enough to even put temples in tree roots

Khenrinpoche Lama Lhundrup- the Abbot of Kopan monastery where we were, and one of Jean Yves' teachers. Yes, he really is as kind, caring, and warm as his photo! :) Next to him, is a picture of appropriately named Monkey Temple. During the course, it was decided that we needed to make an expedition with all 240 of us to the two holiest stupas in Kathmandu.
